PR & Outreach Specialist
We're recruiting for an experienced PR & outreach specialist!
You’ll help us to plan and deliver digital PR & outreach campaigns for a wide range of clients, working alongside our content, SEO and design teams to secure coverage for our clients online.
You’ll be expected to support the ideation, creation, distribution, placement, and amplification of the content we create for our clients and will contribute to the overall success of our integrated digital marketing campaigns. You will also have standalone PR and Digital PR campaigns to own.
You will have a track record of implementing strategies to get content in front of the right audience, with a demonstrable focus on media outlets, bloggers and influencers to amplify content.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Working collaboratively with Hallam’s SEO, PPC, Design, Development, and Strategy teams to support and deliver successful PR & content campaigns for our clients
Delivering regular coverage for our clients from authoritative media outlets, bloggers and other relevant sources
Monitoring the performance of our outreach campaigns and reporting back to both clients and account managers
Growing and developing influencer relationships to provide future opportunities for our clients
Offering pre-sales support where necessary to help grow our client base
You will also be given the chance to progress and influence the growth of Hallam’s PR services

You’ll help develop PR strategies, drive awareness and engagement across a wide range of clients.
You’ll develop relationships with journalists, create and pitch compelling newsworthy content and stories to key media. You’ll love to experiment with new ways of communicating stories, have a strong work ethic and a burning desire to get brands talked about online.

Some skills we hope you have:
Marketing or communications degree is welcomed but not required if you have relevant work experience
You will have demonstrable experience of delivering PR support, and experience in working with clients who demand only the best
2+ years’ experience in a PR or marketing role
Agency experience preferred, but in-house experience will be considered
Strong organisation skills
A team player with the confidence to take the initiative and help colleagues when necessary on aspects such as content development, creation and editing and online reputation management
Comfortable with analysing data and turning it into media-friendly insights
Being inquisitive and action-oriented and enjoying implementing change
No day is the same – so flexibility and quick judgement are key
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to consistently work at capacity and always hit deadlines

Salary: Competitive, but dependent on experience.
